120 Denison Ia. Dec. 19/79 The Denison Total Abstinence Union met at the usual time and place, the Presi- dent in the chair. The meet ing opened with singing and prayer by A F Bond The minutes of the previous meeting were read and ap- proved. The President appologized to the meeting for the ab- sence of his wife who was on the programme for reading. Mrs E. S Plimpton then read an interesting tem- perance story, followed by Mr F C Spencer, with a recitation. Mr D. M. Wallace and Mrs Alice Burlingamme begged to be excused from serving on the programme of the evening on account of non preparation. The little children then sang two very pretty
