Denison Iowa Feby 28th 1880. The Denison Total Abstinence Union met at the Covert House, at the usual hour, The President, A.F. Bond, in the chair. The meeting was opened by singing. Prayer being omitted. The minutes of the Previous meeting were read and approved. The Parties on the Previous programs not being prepared and the Parties to the Mock Trial not ready. It was decided to defer the Previous Program and the trial, until next Saturday evening. at 7 P.M. when the same Program and trial. will be had. after some Music the meeting closed Edward Miles Ast. Secy note. the notice of a Lecture by Mrs Fletcher at McHenry Hall on next Monday evening was announced the Profits of which is to go to this club. E.M. Ast. Secy.
