magnificent with my dad's death, life lost some much of its luster & we kids - the final six to my mind lost [control?]. We, it seemed to me were boisterous and somewhat [illegible], ready but settled down to orderly diff [illegible] we girls were more presumed upon - pushed into the outdoors and church - [illegible] liked school, [illegible] good scholars must have been in [illegible][illegible][illegible][illegible][illegible] school 1 yr of taking over the complete responsib. for the family I don't recall how I was trapped into that except at the end of the tunnel. Somewhere along [illegible] time my [brot?] & I had [illegible] yrs of church scooling was interrupted - graduated [illegible][illegible] the 8th grade believe it or not to written an examination with [illegible] hundred in history. [illegible][illegible]the [illegible][illegible] kids seemed rambunctious intolerably We kids the final six seemed [illegible][illegible] to me - but even life settled down to a more tolerable existence.
