There is evidence of life 9/10 of the way to the center of the earth which explains the existence of life 9 - This hypothesis explains the relief features of the first order. They were built up by the taking in of outside bodies which were irregular in shape, number and distribution for there is no law of regularity. Then the ocean basins, when the earth shrank, shrank more than the continental platforms because of their greater compactness. 10 - Distrophism is periodic. Planetesimal hypothesis explains diastrophism in the shrinking of the lithosphere. 11 - Pressure generates heat and heat liquifies rock. The great pressure of the earth explains vulcanism. Mechanics 12 - The force disrupting the nebula came from space and disappeared into space, therefore no energy was created and none was lost according to the law of energy. Biology 13 - This hypothesis gives infinite time for evolution by Darwin's theory for according to this hypothesis the earth has been inhabitable 10/11 of its history, contrary to the nebular hypothesis which could make the earth inhabitable only 130/150,000 of its entire history. Therefore, the biological process are explained. There are no criticisms of the Planetesimal hypothesis as yet undoubtedly because it is too young and far enough removed. In the future may criticisms will undoubtedly be formed against it but the hypothesis will have served its purpose. It will yield its place to a better and more advanced hypothesis and perhaps form the basis for a theory for the origin of the earth. The earth's early history, according to this hypothesis is very different from either the Laplasian or the meteoritic hypothesis. According tothe Laplacian hypothesis the earth was a first larger, and
