Blakesburg Iowa Feby 4 I Recd a letter from Lewis day before yesterday, asking me to find him one hundred dollars the amount he sent home. he wanted it sent to Wells & Fargo [Heds? Expr?]. As we have no such Express here, and dont know what Express runs in Connection with W & F Ex, I wrote to him to say that I would get you to pay him our Hundred Dollars for me, and you can draw on me for the amount any time.
