Blakesburg Iowa April 18 1875 Mr Geo. S. Finney Your kind letter of the 8th Inst came to hand by yesterdays mail, and was really glad to hear that you were well. We have not had any word from L. C since the letter your mother wrote to him which she copied from what I had written. I tel you, George just as soon them boys got out there they Put the Devil in his head, and he had no more discretion than to let it out.
