Blakesburg Iowa Jany 15 1878 Mr Geo. S. Finney I was in Ottumwa Last week and bought you a shawl I think it is a good one for the Price six dollars. I sent it out by exp to Battle Mountain. you will perhaps get it as soon as you do this. I enclosed in it a Courier giveing a Statement of how things are progressing in Otto. I have nothing of much interest to write at this. We have had rather an open winter so far, the winter grain looks well now. we are all in usual health. from you Father &c S. G. Finney
