Blakesburg Ia 5-6-89 Mr G.S. Finney Enclosed with this I send you one of your Bro Franks letters, so you can see what he is doing, and where he is. Well the Oklahomers have got back home, quite a number went from here. All are better satisfied with Iowa than when they went away. No one got a Claim. They all say there is not more that 1/3 of the land there that any one would want. 2/3 of the land is red sand hills, peopele were more anixous to get away from the place than they were to out. Our oats & corn is all in the ground, it is a very dry time with us, the Burg. is still improving. Charly Reading has been appointd PM in place
