Nov. 19, 1934 - Mrs. Addie Schumach was hostess, Nov. 19, to the Cary Club. Eleven were present. The minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved. The treasurer Mrs. Erwin reported a dividend of $7.41 collected from the Commercial Bank, making a total of 7.63 in the First National Bank. Mrs. Phelps reported the purchase and donation of 1 dozen cups & plates at a cost of $2.76 Report of the Federation meeting was given by Mrs. Fermoro She told of Miss Titus' work of remodeling garments. Mrs. Parsons told of the Red Cross work and $5 was voted by the Federation in to the Red Cross. A Christmans entertainment was planned. Following this report, Mrs. Trond gave the program her subject being, Colonial Days and the First Thanksgiving. A notion was made and carried to send Mrs. Griffiths [wate?] of condolence on her sisters' death. Mrs. Ford Sec.
