Cary Club met at the home of Mrs Griffith Nov 18 - 19 35. Sixteen members answered to Roll call with Thanksgiving [Juotatious]. Moved and carried that Treasurer pay City Federation dues. Mrs McKeau gave a complete report of the Federation meeting and its [frinapal?] features which were most interesting. Mrs Beesou read from the Book "Thanksgiving Day in Modern Story" "With Prayer and Thanksgiving " by [..nery?] Pottle, "Prairie Birds Thanksgiving" by Julia D. Peck and "Mirandy on Thanksgiving" by Dorthy Dix we were all grateful to the Library of the Teachers College in Cedar Falls for such touching and delightful tales. current events were omited [sic] due to late hour. Adjourned Kathryn Blinls Secy Dec 16 - 35 The Cary Club were entertained by Mrs Leslie Pheeps at their annual Christmas party. An elaborate dinner was served at Juaitille [?] tables decorated in the seasons colors. Roll call answered with Christmas [Juotations]. Federation report given by Mrs Winter. Moved and carried to donate 3.00 to Goodfellows fund. also 1.00 to Health Seal fund. also to empower Secy to send Mrs V.R. Alexander a greeting card from The Club, The Entertainment was in charge of Mrs Ford, consisting of Childhoods Christmas experiences given by each member, guessing contests. followed by gift exchange. Eighteen members enjoyed the charming hospitality of the Pheeps Family. Kathryn Blinls Secy.
