43 Mrs. Alice Phelps was hostess to the Cary Club November 2, 1936. The president presided. There were ten members who responded to roll call. The secretary gave a report of the last meeting. After a correction, it was accepted. A card of thanks from Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Elson and Gertrude Elson for flowers sent for their mother's funeral was read by the secretary. Mrs. Blinks thanked the club for the shower of birthday greetings sent to her for her birthday. There being no special business the following program was given; The Mexican Odyssey by Bowman and Heath was reviewed Mrs. Shumack. In connection with the review Mrs. Beeson gave a short history of Maxmilian in [illegible]. Current Events were given. There were eleven members present. The club adjourned to meet in two weeks with Mrs. Shumack. Aea B. Price, Sec.
