67 The Cary Club met Dec. 6, with Mrs. Addie Shumack. Twelve members responded to roll call. Mrs. Blinks thanked the club in her inimitable way for the boquet of chrysanthemum and congratulatory messages receive by her on her golden wedding anniversary which was Nov. 16. The president, Mrs. Reichert read the following poem after a few well chosen remarks to Mrs. Blinks: For little women Irea flare, For hazel eyes and auburn hair, All that we know and hold most dear, And love to have her always here. That's Kitty. A motion made by Mrs. Shumack and seconded by Mrs. Winter, that the Club give $3.00 to the Good Fellows' Fund, was carried. The members discussed Christmas plans. It was moved by Mrs. Ford and seconded by Mrs. Blinks that the expenses for the Christmas dinner be pro-rated. This carried.
