70 Mrs. McKean was hostess to the Cary Club the afternoon of January 3rd. Twelve members were present. There was no business to come before the club. Mrs. A. E. Blinks conducted a memorial service in memory of our beloved member. Mrs. Alice Phelps who's death occurred Dec. 13- Mrs. Reichert read a beautiful poem and Mrs. Shumack gave a fine tribute to Mrs. Phelps. The book review "Of Mice and Men by John Steinbeck was read by Mrs. Thomas for Mrs. Waffle. Mrs. Gerald Thomas Sec.
