72 The Cary Club met with Mrs. A. G. Waffle on the afternoon of February seventh. Fourteen members responded to roll call. Mrs. Griffiths sent a message of thanks for the card and plant sent by the Club remembering her eightieth birthday. It was moved by Mrs. Shumack and seconded by Mrs. McKean to give one dollar to the P. J. A. Dental fund Mrs. Shumack read the book review on, "My Country and My People" by the Chinese writer, Lin Yufang. Club adjourned to meet with Mrs. Fernon in two weeks. Mrs. Gerald Thomas Sec.
