101 May 1 - '39 Mrs. Woodward was hostess to the Cary Club with the president Mrs Seger presiding. Seven members responded to roll call. The minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved. A bill for 77c for a plant was allowed. A letter from Mrs. Aea B. Price requesting that she be placed on the retired list was read and her request was granted. Mrs. Seger reported that the club cleared $20.00 at the Benefit Recital. She requested the Secretary to write a note of appreciation to Mrs. Adams. The officers elected for 1939-40 are as follows. President Mina Woodward, Vice Pres. Miss Elva Emmerson, Secretary- Mrs. E. U. Carey Treasurer- Mabelle Beeson The members enjoyed a question- -naire conducted by the president. No further business appearing Club was adjourned to meet with Mrs. Fernow May 15th. Mina Woodward Sec'y P.J.
