Dubuque Iowa Jan 22 1891 My dear Judge I merely wish to congratulate you, Govn. Hill & the country on the election of Gov. Hill as U.S Senator. This is to me strong proof of his being the favourite of New York & that he is clear ahead of Cleveland in that State & in the Union for the next President of the U.S. If I knew certainly the Gov's address I would write & tender him my sincere congratulations on his election. Will you when you see or write to him congratulate him for me. Resply you old friend Geo. W. Jones Judge Pryon New York
