The first page will give the aims of the Leagues, Man Wood Parks pledge of Good Citizenship, article on the work of the League and local conditions. Second page name, term of office and candidates salary. Third page an article on Primary elections; slackers, officers and news items. Fourth page federal measures which the League supports. The name of the bulletin is the Johnson County Bulletin of the League of Women Voters and the entire cost of the one issue $70. and postage $40. The delegates welcomed the plan with enthusiasm and Dr Stewart, Mrs Seashore gave enthusiastic outline of the work and furnished to many struggling county chairmen a suggestion for raising money with the minimum of effort and a maximum of publicity and value for the league. The Johnson County League hopes to pay its state quota besides finance the four publications and have a small balance left for the local work out of this venture. Various district and county chairman reported plans for money raising which were listened to with great interest. Rummage sales chicken dinners, picture shows, pinics, plays have been promoted in order to raise the quota
