That this law should have our earnest consideration and that the organization stand back of the Child Welfare Committee Chairman and that she keep us informed and ask for our co-operation in defeating "Filled Milk" Federal law. Mrs Mayer then gave her report as State Chairman of American Citizenship filed with the secretary. carried. (Read rest of Mrs Mayers talk at [front?] of page before going further.) Mrs James Devitt - State chairman of Women in Industry gave a splendid report. Discussion followed. Mrs Devitt moved that her report be accepted. Carried. Motion made that we adjourn until 2 P.M. Seconded and carried. Thursday P.M. Meeting called to order by Mrs Pierce, who stated that one of the problems in headquarters was the demand from other organizations and clubs for literature which cost the League a good deal and for which no one cared to pay. The question is, in how far can we furnish such supplies. Mrs Passig presented the following motion: That the facilities of the State headquarters were taxed to the limit of their resources and under the direction of the State Board shall be at the services of local Leagues that the work may be carried out to the end that speakers, literature and other reports be filled but that a nominal charge be made to other organizations seeking this information. Seconded by Mrs Mc Kin, carried. Following the report of Mrs Mayer, she called special attention to the recent passage
