Mayer given before the Legislative Committee of the Des Moines Federation of Women's Clubs at the Savery Hotel. After the lecture the members of the Executive Com. met in Mrs Mayer's room 1041 Savery Hotel where the committee approved the choice of Dr. Carrie Harvison Dickey for the local convention chairman for the National Convention of the National League of Women Voters to be held in Des Moines, April 9-14 1923. A press representative called to recieve the report of the proceedings of the Executive Com. meeting with special reference to the Legislative program. A discussion of the publication of the Bulletin followed. Motion prevailed to continue the regular publication of the Bulletin and that notice be sent to all County Chairman, officers and Committee Chairman to secure subscriptions for the same at 50 cts per year. Discussion of plans for the National Convention and adjournment to meet at the call of the President. Mrs Passig A.M. and Mrs Mayer P.M. Sec's pro-tem. Copied into Book by Mrs Hazel Wood Knutson. The local Des Moines Convention chairman, Mrs Carried Harvison Dickey formed an Advisory Com. and this copy shows the Members of the Committee and the members added and their first work
