The Board members discussed the Sheppard Towner Hearing and adjourned to the Savery Hotel for 6:30 dinner. After dinner the Board members present adjourned to Mrs Ruff's room Savery Hotel Room 214 and the following business was transacted. The minutes of Oct 24 1922 were re read and the Treasurer's report up to date as per file being made clean, the minutes were approved. The minutes of Dec 8 were read and approved. The work of organization was discussed. The first plan was to obtain a County Chairman. Fifth District Chr named - Mrs Elmer Taylor of Traer. One plan of selecting officers for a County or city Unit is to call a representative from every women's organization and elect officers from such a group or at their selection. Discussion as to the delegate body of the I.L.W.Voters at the National Convention to be held at Des Moines April 9-14-1923. As the Iowa women will be hostesses to this convention plans were discussed as to badges. Mrs Hopkin of Lake City recommended as 10th Dist. Chr. A tea for Legislative ladies discussed. Febr. 22 1923 at 10 o' clock at 505 1/2 Shopps Bldg. Mrs Hazel Wood Knutson Rec. Sec. the Executive Board met in regular session. Mrs Tomlinson the President presiding. The minutes of Febr 8-1923 were read and approved. A discussion of plan of work was the order of the day Members present Mrs Tomlinson, Mrs Mayer, Mrs Koch, Mrs Pierce Past Pres. Mrs Hunter and Mrs Clarence Knutson. Mrs Koch gave or pledged $1200. to the I.L.W.Voters to be used for publishing the I.L.W.Voters Bulletin. Mrs Fred Hunter had accepted chairmanship of International Co-operation to Prevent War. Moved by Mrs Mayer that the I.L.W.Voters Headquarters send out invitations to
