Motion seconded and carried. Mrs Ruste moved that we send a resolution to the National Convention for the appreciation of the Des Moines women. Motion seconded and carried. Adjourned to meet at the call of the President. Mrs Hazel Wood Knutson, Rec. Sec. Thursday P.M. April 12th at 4 o'clock all Iowa women met in our extra large room at Headquarters. About 50 women responded and Mrs Tomlinson presided. The meeting was informal and each lady was asked to tell of her individual League problems and the State officers explained their service to local leagues. On Monday following the National Convention the Board Officers, Mrs Tomlinson, Mrs Mayer Mrs Hunter, Mrs Knutson with Mrs Littell 7th Dist. met with the National Treasurer Miss Ludington to discuss sending an organizer in to Iowa, Miss Ludington to give to Iowa the sum of $200. to aid in this work. The I.L.W.Voters in National Convention pledged 45-$100. pledges. Mrs W.W.Littell DesMoines had been named 7th Dist. chairmen, Mrs E.J. Stason, Sioux City 10th Dist. Chr. Two Iowa Breakfasts were held during Convention week one at Hotel Fort Des Moines and one the Shopps Building.
