At noon Thursday the delegates and visitors lunch in the Oak Room of the Ft. Des Moines Hotel Dr Margaret Mills presiding. Short addresses were given by Local League Presidents on the subject Outstanding Features of our Leagues Program. The following responded, Mrs C.E. Seashore of Iowa City, Mrs A.R. Sale, Mason City, Mrs. Thursday, Oct 25 - 1923 an evening session from 6:30 to 9:30 was held as an informal banquet with the Pres. Mrs I.H. Tomlinson presiding. Mrs Ida B Wise Smith, Iowa Pres of the W.C.J.V. spoke on Echoes from the Washington Citizenship Conference. Miss Florence Hooper, Baltimore spoke on the subject "Philanthropic Finance Problems. She told how the Methodist Foreign [Missionary?] Society raised money. Miss Carrie Carnahan, Pittsburgh spoke on A South American view. Miss Katherine Mayo spoke on Justice to All and Harvey Ingham had the subject "The Permanent Court of International Justice."
