Mrs Mayer reminded Mrs Hunter she had omitted one thing 27th of July, "Law not War" week. Mrs Tomlinson Past Pres. and now State organizer chairman of committee in charge of the Carrie Chapman Catt program. Mrs Mc Kim's committee reported they had been successful in interviews with senators before they went away. It was difficult to get an interview with Brookhart. Quoted what was in letter from Mrs Maud Woods Parks regards his voting for Child Welfare and voting against World Court. Said he never would voted for it. Talked with Mr Donell who said he was in favor of both and agree to work for both. Senator Cummins voted for both and said he intended to continue working for them. Past President Mrs I.H. Tomlinson, state organizer reported that she expected through the month of December to open up through correspondence an itinerary and would be ready early in the year to start the work. Mrs Tomlinson announced that Mrs Catt would be here Dec 6 evening meeting Hoyt Sherman Place. We would be at the expense of the building & pay her $100. Selling tickets to fill the room at 55cts and could not arrange for it without paying the extra five cents for war tax.
