Mrs Hunter moved that the Secretary write a letter of deep appreciation to Mrs Koch for sending a personal gift of $300. there by saving out life again when our funds were so low. Motion seconded by Mrs Mayer. Motion carried. Mrs Daniels brought up the subject of a safety box for valuable papers etc of the League. Mrs Tomlinson moved that we invest in a safety box at the Bank. Motion seconded by Mrs Hunter. Motion carried. Mrs Daniels raised the question of a sign on our door or window as to the name of our organization. Mrs Mayer moved that the President Mrs Daniels be empowered to order the sign placed on our front window. Motion seconded by Mrs Hunter Motion carried Mrs Mayer moved that we follow action as requested in behalf of the Child Welfare Commission for legislative support. Motion seconded by Mrs Hunter. Motion carried. The last motion to be referred to Mrs Spaulding, Child Welfare chairman. The request was that a letter be sent to each member of the Legislature for Legislative support in behalf of the Child Welfare Commission. Dean Anna Richardson of Ames gave a report of her committee on Living Costs. Dean Richardson moved that the Board of the I.L.W.Voters authorize the sending of a letter asking indorsements to their representatives in Congress of the Fess Home Economics Hill to local Presidents & Board members.
