at home. 30% to State and 40 to National. Motion prevented to adjourn. March 27, at 10 o'cock the Special Convention of the I. L. of Women Voters met regular session at the Savery Hotel with the President Mrs Daniels presiding. Announcement was made of a luncheon to be held today in the crystal room at Harris Emery's. Mrs Stromston, Iowa City, member of the Elections committee instead of Mrs Seashore, Iowa City. The Credentials committee reported 26 were entitled to vote. The names were read. Minutes of Wednesday afternoon session were read and approved. Mrs. Stronator of Iowa City read a very fine report sent by Mrs. Spaulding of Grinnell Chr. of Child Welfare Committee. A recess was declared for voting convention called to order + polls declared closed. Miss Angeline Smith, Iowa City, read a very complete report sent by Mrs Seashore of Iowa City, chr. of Women in Industry Committee. Mrs Jordan of Des Moines was named on the Election committee instead of Mrs Gordon Elliott who is a nominee. Mrs Mayer moved that a note of greeting be sent to Mrs McKim who is ill. Mrs Hunter seconded the motion. Motion carried. The election committee reported no nominee for President, 1st Vice Pres. Dr. Sterrant of Iowa City, 2nd Vice Pres. Mrs Max Mayer, 3rd Vice President Mrs Gordon Elliott, 4th Vice Pres Mrs Florence Koch of Cedar Rapids. Sec. Mrs. Clarence Knutson of Clear Lake, Treas. Miss Bonnie Marshall. Several were nominated for President but declined. Mrs Wolf moved that the nomination be closed, seconded by Mrs Littell - carried. There being only one nominee for each office they were declared elected. Plans for a citizenship schools were discussed by Mrs Max Mayer. After discussion on each proposed amendment
