178 Motion carried. Mrs Rourke moved that we indorse the program indicated in red ink, recommended for study by the National League of Women Voters, pertaining to [illegible] [illegible]. Motion carried. Mrs Helen Lowell Million reported for the Education Committee and recorded its acceptance. Motion Carried. Mrs Million moved that [Iowa?] League of Women Voters report to the St Louis Convention, an endorsement of the proposed program for 1925-6 in the Department of Education. Motion carried. Mrs. Million moved that the [Iowa?] League of Women Voters recommends that the Delegates to the National Convention be authorized to recommend that the Dept. of Education add to the program work in cooperation with the Dept of International Cooperation to present [Nar?] to stop the compulsory military training in schools and colleges, and to urge the use of text books giving the least attention to war in ways to make pupils favorable to war Motion Carried.)
