Motion carried Mrs [Ida?] B. [Wise?] Smith spoke on "Amending the Constitution of the United States" Dr. [Edward?] [Lauer ?] spoke on "The Operation of the [shiff ?] and [Taconer ?] Law in Iowa." Mrs. [Million?] moved that this organization disapprove of the use of the Post Office department to advertise the [illegible] of the War Department by the use of cancellation stamps Mrs. [Blanchard?] moved that this matter be referred to the new Executive Committee, with power to act. Motion carried Mrs. [Hunter?] moved that the matter of a bulletin be referred to the new board. Motion carried. Mr. Mayer thanked all present for the help given her during her administration. Miss Van [Alstine ?] presented the following resolution Resolved that "The Iowa League of Women Voters express its appreciation and gratitude to Mrs. Mayer for the years of service in time, ability, and money, all of which she has so freely given and particularly do we wish to record our tremendous appreciation of the gift of $100.00 which enables us to [illegible]
