Mrs. Ruff suggested that a member of each league be on the state (Finance Committee Motion carried that at least $1200 be raised for Ia. state budget). Mrs. Parkes suggested obtaining sustaining memberships, also state memberships and a league budget. The following tentative budget was suggested by Mrs. Parkes - Adj. The Pres. the Iowa League of Women Voters, and Board were entertained at a breakfast given at the home of Prof. + Mrs. Shambaugh and were the guests at the luncheon given by Pres. and Mrs. Jessup at the Memorial Union of the State University of Iowa. Mrs. Inez Kinney. Secy Pro Tenc Executive Board met at the home of Mrs. Sale with the following members present. Mrs. C.A. Knutson and Mrs. A.R. Sale with Mrs. Walter consent. The following bills were presented. Phoebe Rogers, Stenographic work $4.30. Mrs. C.A. Knutson office supplies $5.00 Western Union $1.39. Mrs. Sale moved that the bills be allowed. Mrs. Knutson seconded, carried Mrs. Sale Secy Adj.
