Mrs. Rourke that we retire to the coffee shop and continue the business - carried. It was moved by Mrs. Rourke and seconded by Mrs. Hunter that we pay $100 on our pledge to the National League - carried. After a [illegible] from Mrs. Max Mayes of her work in the "Get out the Vote" campaign - a motion was made by Mrs. Hunter and seconded by Mrs. Rourke that we re-imburse Mrs. Mayes for bill she had paid - carried. Mrs. Hunter then brought in the message that Mrs. Millain was forced to resign her position as Educational Chairman - A motion was made by Mrs. Hunter and seconded by Dr. Hoyt that we accept the resignation with great regret and that a letter of appreciation be written her by the President - carried. Dr. Hoyt in discussing her department recommended that a survey of about [illegible] families in each community be made to determine where increase of income is spent. These questionaires are to be sent to President of [illegible] Leagues. A motion was made by Mrs. Mayes and seconded by Mrs. Hunter that the temporary Legislative Council be made [permanent?] during Legislative session and that the Ch. be authorized to subscribe to House and senate Journal. Carried. Several suggestions for a representative to the Cause
