so one place is about as good as another. The Mediterranean is beautifully blue today. To our right are ranges of mountains. White snow caps rise peak after peak seemingly out of the air or the sky above the horizon. They seem to float in a luminous light green sky. Our day is really ideal if only friend Van were able to cooperate with the elements which strive to give him the best that can be offered even in this sunny part of the world. Please write us often. WE leave forwarding addresses wherever we go so don't be afraid that we shall miss your letters. Its really a pity how little we hear from home. And no one seems to realize how shut off we are and how much we need to hear. Travelling may seem inviting to those at home but no one who has not experience is does not realize the hardships, the discomfort, the unpleasant which is entailed. Quite true it is a wonderful experience for us and I am glad that we have had it, but knowing what I do now, I never would have the heart to start over again. But enough of this. Good wish and the hope that you are all well and having lovely spring weather - a hope of a good year ahead. Love and kisses to you and all the family Van and Eve.
