Cream together a pound of butter and a pound of white sugar. 8 eggs whites and yolks beaten separately 1 pound raisins seeded and chopped 1/2 pound blanched almonds and a quarter pound of citron, both thinly sliced, a little mace, wine glass of wine, 1 pound sifted flour. Bake in a steady oven.
