Tomatoes for Supper For a family of six persons take six eggs boil four of these hard. Mix the yolks with vinegar enough to soften and three teaspoons of [mustard?]. Mash smooth as possible then add the remaining eggs raw and stir well add oil or melted butter enough to make sauce enough to cover the tomatoes well with salt and cayenne pepper to taste. Cut tomatoes 1/4 of an inch thick and pour the sauce over them.
