Well matters went on till she wanted to be a secretary- I told Mrs. F- I wanted you if any one - but you could not go - then & our business was not being worked night by Slayton- Well I gave up my first impressions & paid her $20 to write for me part of the time for a month. Mrs. F paid her also - sent her to Chicago- I could not hear from her & she wrote me 3 letters during the time saying she was doing great
