She scratched off her letters so I could hardly read them and I was ashamed to have such looking things go out– for me – I was almost sick and afraid of her. I came back from Neb. and found she was trying to kick up a fuss all round – she scolded & found all manner of fault – & said she did not – like the position wishing more salary - so Mrs. F excused her - at her own word. She has done me no good- & disgusted Slayton- I shall have no more secretaries till you can go - Do I owe you 6 or 7 dollars tell me. I intended to ask in my last. Write me here- Love to all- Ella-
