Richard Raymond reported dead in France. Poor little Dick! 
Sun. 15. Mostly fair, N N.W. 65. All at church morn. except Harriet; she went evg. They three took ride to cemetery & around, p.m. with Goody Koontz auto.

Mon. 16. Cloudy morn., very fair later, N.W. gtle & about 62. Not doing much. Fine evg. 

Tues. 17. Cloudy morn.& evg with sprinkles. Fair S.W. 63° Edith started home, and C. went to W. Jctn. with her. Fine evg. 

Wed. 18 42 to 60° Cloudy morn. N.W. fair. Nothing doing. Fixing for soft coal, & puttering. Fine evg. 

Thurs. 19. 40 to 58°, partly cloudy. N.N.W. - War relic train 7 a.m. spl agt. Bogart of Phoenix here. spading out potatoes for strawberries. Frost threatening. 41° evg. fair. fine. 

Fri. 20. no frost, cloudy again; 41° to 53°. Picked all the few Wealthy apples I could reach and [Abmedaner?] plums. Spaded out more potatoes before supper. Cloudy evg. 

Sat. 21 sharp frost, (first). 35° to 59° Fine day; N. to S.E. gentle Dug potatoes 4 to 6. - Office evg.
