Church & New World matters I at church finance meeting evg. - Mr. Shanks took pledges & finished. Tues. 3 Cold [underlined] enough from frost, but cloudy. 45 max. Busy at New World Movement and church a/c. Wed. 4 Fair & fine, 34 to 67 N.E. About home morn. Funeral Sheriff Ben Martindale. Ins. a/cs.evg.
