Mon 28 31 to 33 all day, S. wind, fog [underlined] & chill [underlined] Abst. mostly. Evg. a while Tues. 29 29 to 40. Fair, SW-NW. Abst (& Evg.) Good share of day take up by A.A. Ingram, S./A. National Fire Co. 105- Wed. 30 Muggy morn again. 26° S.E. P.M. Fair (bal.) & 40° Cleaned out old long stove-pipe [three words underlined] and put up mostly new [underlined], - [5+1+2?] elbows. All a.m. Office evg. December. Thurs. 1 40 to 48° Muggy again; Fog very thick P.M. & some rain. - Cleaned vault, and range, a.m. - Office evg. Fri. 2 26° to 30° N.W. Cloudy. Fairing P.M. Office short day. Wf. & H. at "Bohemian Girl" evg. & I at M. W. A. annual election. Sat. 3 18 to 28, Fair, N. Starting up hard coal heater [three words underlined] a.m., & other jobs. Evg. with H. at "Peck's Bad Boy."
