February, SATURDAY, 6, 1864. arose at daylight fed choped wood till noon hauled 4 load wood after fed about dark a cool cloudy day ret about 9. George Stout came to see uncle, about sugar camp &c. SUNDAY, 7. are fed & started home about 10 got there about 12, all right, they thrashed last week had 91 bu wheat, 88 oats, Mary & I [?] at home to day I got back before dark a plesant day ret about 9 MONDAY, 8. arose about day light clear fed & eat break when it comenced snowing & has been squally all day cleaned out stable & comenced fixing it for sheep cool eve ret about 10
