February, FRIDAY, 12, 1864 arose be fore sun rise. fed set [power?], Phil Caffman here went to mill for boards to make sheep rack hauled wood out of orchard a warm day ret about 9 SATURDAY, 13. arose betteen day light & sun rise fed worked at sheep racks in stable Uncle went after [gun?] & to louis ville in [cars?] a warm plesant day ret bout 1/4 past 9 SUNDAY, 14. arose be fore sun rise, fed went to Louisvil to late for church. Came back read [ado acate?], Wrote letter to Hiram to nite a cloudy morn plesant afternoon ret 9
