March, Monday, 7, 1864. arose after day light. fed made rack to feed cattle straw in fenced straw stack. John stoped here this morn on way to newark. Daveson left today. rained some this afternoon ret about 9 TUESDAY, 8. arose at day light fed shelled and cleaned oats &c to get chopped for feed. a plesant like day cloudy part of time. rained a little. Phelix at his Fathers today ret about 9 sam meniti got home to day WEDNESDAY, 9. arose about day light fed took oats & corn to mill. split wood helped Philix first plow field of oats down fed & went home by [?] John [smoutses?] found an old man at home Father [?] cloudy day ret at [9?]
