White Wash reciept take 1/2 bu unslacked lime slack it with boiling water, Covering to keep in the steam. strain the liquor through fine sack add 1/4 bu clean salt desolved in warm water. 3[ou?] rice ground to a thin paste & stired in boiling hot 1/2[ou?] powdered spanish Whitening, 1[ou?] clean glue desolved by first soaking well & then hanging over a slow fire in a small kettle within a large one filled with water add 5 gal. hot water to the whole stir well & let it stand a few days Covered from dirt. put it on quite hot. 1 pt will wash a square yard
