Give my respects to all the family 1871 Sparta Ills May 30 Dear Bro i read your welcome letter some time since was glad to hear from you all. We are in usual health i have been better since the warm weather commenced than i was in the winter but cant do but little work the weather is quite warm and dry all spring crops makes but little progress Some are cutting wheat next week will be the throngest early wheat is not going to be heavy owing to the extreme dry weather but there are some fine fields of wheat Oats are injured
