the note I gave you & the mortgage also, & what money you may have in your possession for me. Do not lend any of it out because a person does not know what to depend on when once their money is out of their hands. Now Mr McDill I am ever so much obliged to you for all you have done for me and will endeavor to repay you if I ever have an opportunity I release you from this bond because you feel insecure & do not blame you in the least because a person can not be to careful. Give all the money you have for me & all the notes & the mortgage as soon as you are satisfied that you are released. Trust Johnny with anything you please for he has my full confidence & deal with him as you would with me & I will be responsible. Remember me to all friends & regard me as ever your friend J.C.
