Spanta March 6th 1875 Mr Joseph McDill Dear Sir I wish to get Some Northern Seed Corn. Especially as we have no good corn or oats either in Southern Ills never since my recollection, has Randolph County been as destitute of feed of all kind as now. We have nothing to depend on but Wheat of which we had an unusual good crop. Wheat straw is our only chance for May We are getting our seed oats from the north I wish if you please, that you would Send me one or Two Bushels of good Seed corn Some white and some yellow by way of St Louis on Cairo R.R. and I will pay you for it or send you the money in advance if you can send it. please let me know as soon as posible All well as usual, Yours Truly D.
