Ther. Saturday, Jan. 7, 1888 Wea. Some snow in am, but growing cold P.M. About as usual with our folks, perhaps work not as driving as some times. Rosanna out part P.M. at some duties for "Band of Hope" &c-. Feeling rather better self after another good nights rest & busy with usual chores, & extra sweeping with same knitting for R-. Trying to make prospect as hopeful as can. Ther. Sunday 8 Wea Quite pleasant but much colder. Geo attended service in A.M. Rosa at s_ school, & both at service in eve. Mrs. Post with her sons, spending eve with Clyde & Leonard in front room. Tho't self as well & spending day at rest & reading (& mostly in chamber,) but did realize more of nervous excitement than used to, when reading in eve.
