Ther. Friday, Jan. 27, 1888 Wea. No colder, & one of pleasantest days this winter. Our folks on hand in better season & at usual duties with some extra of melting snow, & at "thawing out" & trying lo arrange spouts (pump-cham?) &c. P.M. Mrs. Post in of errand A.M. while I was at ironing quite as well self & busy at repairing & odd jobs with usual chores. Ther. Saturday 28 Wea. About as pleasant but more wind, & growing colder P.M. Leonard still poorly from cold & some cough, others much the same & busy as usual. Rosa- out to W.C.T.U. meeting P.M. Poorly again self troubled with old dyspeptic trouble P.M. but spent day much same & in chamber troubled with some cough & all evening & quite dull.
