Friday, June 29, 1888 Very warm, & as pleasant. Much as usual with our folks & all moving on much same. Charlotte having ironing for extra work in A.M. girls with their Papa down at Depot A.M. to see Cousins Clyde & Leonard with their Mother start for Dubuque. As well self, & with usual chores did most of my ironing A.M. with rest & reading part P.M. Saturday 30 Weather remains much same. About same with our folks & of course enough to keep them busy as ever, particularly the little girls, who were down of errand to Papa once or more. Much same self, finishing my ironing this A.M. with other work & some sweeping, feeling heat considerably P.M. for me, & could appreciate "ice cream" at supper with others, with nice strawberries.
