Wednesday, Aug 22, 1888 Cooler, but very pleasant again. Ellery hardly well as usual, but had breakfast early, & at place of business in good season, taking as little time as possible for meals with extra chores about house & yard. We took dinner & supper with Mr & Mrs Wedgwood. El- another letter from Ch-. While helping Mrs W- little after dinner I had kind of sick spell, but leaving no pain, I spent most day at home, & as past two weeks. Thursday 23 Warmer think, but quite breezey, & pleasant. Ellery not extra well but on hand in good season, & quite as busy. We took dinner with Mr & Mrs W-, but they took tea at Mite society & El- having to be home at that time we took supper there. After good nights rest better self, & doing some extra sweeping with chores in kitchen in morn. in P.M. was in to sit couple hours with DeEtte DuBois. Where met Mrs Stella (Townsend) Bigelow & Mrs Ella (Clark) H
