Tuesday, Oct. 9, 1888 Frosty again this morn- very pleasant, Mercury 67° P.M. All as well with our folks, Ch- & El- extra busy with cleaning painting &c over at new house, & having some of furniture taken there P.M. Well as usual self, & spending day much same with extra work of "picking up" & "packing away" in chamber, for moving. Wednesday 10 About as cool morn-, but only 56° P.M. About as pleasant most of day, which our folks could appreciate, being moving rest of goods to "new house", having loads taken A.M. & Ch- busy there P.M. with El-'s help part of time, all took dinner with the Braytons, & I spent last of A.M. there, after packing & helping get goods from my chamber, & part P.M. before going to help arrange things in new chamber, where I spent evening at rest, comfortably.
