Friday, Nov. 16, 1888 Mercury reached 34° only, this P.M. clear but very windy. Much as usual with our folks & guess spending day much the same, Charlotte out short time P.M. over at Mrs Braytons, little girls over at grand-pa's & at play out part of P.M. After good nights rest tho't self as well, but find have no extra strength & "taking it easy" with some sewing (turning sheet) spending part eve down stairs. Saturday 17 Coldest yet, only 6°+ in morn & 28°+ P.M. but quite pleasant day. All moving on much same with our folks. Charlotte extra busy, but Ellery home to dinner again, "little ones" had to enjoy most of their play in doors of course. About same self with no "extra strength" & spending day mostly in chamber much as usual, giving up "visit to Mary Stones" tho't to have.
